Sharing the Cost of Global English Education: A Call for UK and US Leadership

The English language has become the global standard for business and diplomacy. Families worldwide bear the cost of learning English, except in countries where it's the native language. Citizens of the UK, Australia, Canada, and the U.S. benefit from cost-free services in international relations. It seems fair to share the cost with countries that choose to teach English to their children and adults. Subsidizing schools in these countries should be led by the UK and the U.S. What do you think?
