Republican Rep. Byron Donalds is on Bloomberg This Weekend and tells hosts Joe Mathieu and Carol Massar that affordability will be central to his campaign for Florida governor, proposing changes aimed at property taxes, insurance, housing and health-care costs while promising to build on Gov. Ron DeSantis’ record. Donalds, who holds a wide polling lead ahead of Tuesday’s Republican primary, also defended President Donald Trump’s approach to Iran despite higher gasoline prices and said he expects to earn DeSantis’ support if he advances to the general election.
