SocietySpeaks.io ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by William Roberts Coaching and Advisory Ltd, a company incorporated in England (company number 15629688). Our platform provides community discussion and collective intelligence gathering. The platform is hosted on infrastructure in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the website.

1. 定义

2.1 Our platform enables community discussions and collective intelligence gathering. By participating in discussions, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • 您的贡献将对其他用户公开可见
  • 您的投票模式有助于集体分析
  • 评论和投票无法从群组分析中追溯删除
  • 讨论数据可能被用于生成见解和模式识别
  • Where a discussion uses an embedded third-party tool (such as Pol.is on some older discussions), your participation is also subject to that provider’s terms

2.2 参与讨论时，您同意不会：

  • 发布有害、冒犯性或不适当的内容
  • 尝试操纵或欺骗讨论系统
  • 使用自动化手段提交评论或投票
  • 骚扰或威吓其他参与者
  • 分享误导性或虚假信息

3. 注册和账户

3.1 资格要求：您必须至少16岁才能注册账户。

3.2 账户信息：您同意在创建账户时提供准确完整的信息，并保持信息最新。

3.3 安全性：您负责保持账户凭证的机密性，以及您账户下发生的所有活动。

4. 知识产权

5. 捐赠和付款

5.2 支持平台：您可以通过两种方式支持我们：

  • 一次性捐赠以帮助平台运营成本
  • 按月或按年订阅

5.3 付款处理：

  • 所有财务交易通过 Stripe 安全处理
  • 付款以英镑 (GBP) 处理
  • 订阅自动续期，除非您取消

5.4 订阅条款：

  • 您可以随时通过账户设置取消订阅
  • 取消将在当前计费周期结束时生效

5.5 税费和费用：所有显示金额不含增值税和任何适用税费。您负责任何适用的税费。

6. 数据处理

6.1 平台基础设施：我们的服务运行在以下基础设施上：

  • Render - Application hosting (Frankfurt, Germany)
  • Neon - Primary database (London, United Kingdom)
  • Amazon Web Services - File storage and backups (London, United Kingdom)
  • Stripe - 处理付款
  • Resend - 处理电子邮件通讯

6.2 Data Storage: Your data is stored at rest in the United Kingdom and processed in the European Economic Area. A full list of our service providers and locations is set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. 终止

7.1 由您终止：您可以随时通过账户设置终止您的账户。

7.2 由我们终止：我们可能因任何原因立即终止或暂停您的账户和对本服务的访问，无需提前通知或承担责任，包括：

  • 违反这些条款
  • 在讨论中的辱骂行为
  • 未能支付订阅费用
  • 欺诈活动

7.3 终止的效果：终止后：

  • 您对付费功能的访问权限将终止
  • 您的个人账户信息将被删除
  • 您的讨论贡献将保留在集体数据集中
  • 您仍需对任何未结清的款项负责

8. 责任限制

8.1 服务按"现状"提供：本平台按"现状"和"可用时"的基础提供。我们不做任何形式的保证，无论是明示还是默示。

8.2 限制：在法律允许的最大范围内，我们对任何间接、附带、特殊、后果性或惩罚性损害赔偿，或任何利润或收入损失不承担责任。

9. 条款修改

我们保留随时修改这些条款的权利。我们将通过在此页面发布新条款并更新顶部的"生效日期"来通知您任何重大变更。

10. 适用法律

本条款应根据英格兰和威尔士法律进行管理和解释。任何争议应专属于英格兰和威尔士法院的管辖。
