Creating discussions

How it works

1. 1. Describe the discussion

   • A title of 10 to 200 characters. A clear question works best.
   • A description of 30 to 1,000 characters: what is happening, why it matters, and what you want to learn.
   • A topic, and whether it is global or about one country or city.
   • Optionally, link it to a programme or add background reading people see before they vote.

2. 2. Add statements

   • Add 3 to 10 statements of 10 to 280 characters each.
   • Each should be one idea people can agree or disagree with, not a question.
   • Cover different points of view, not just your own. Participants can add their own statements later.

3. 3. Publish and share

   • Your discussion goes live as soon as you publish.
   • Share the link where your audience already talks.
   • Consensus analysis appears once enough people have voted.

Your work is saved on your device as you go, so you can come back to an unfinished discussion.
